Service “Telecare sensors and alarms”

This service includes different sensors installed in the homes of senior citizens’ homes, based on their individual needs. Once an alarm is set off, the caller will be connected to a call-center which will receive alarms from the different devices to prevent accidents like flooding, fall, fire, leaving one’s home at night, etc.

Service: “Electronic locks”

Baerum municipality offers home care services from nurses and other health care professionals to approximately 4000 persons in private homes. Every person has to hand over a key to the caretakers. Keeping track of the keys and bringing the right keys to all visits is a challenge and as a result caretakers often have to drive back to get the right key. To minimize driving and prevent time lost by this, our service uses electronic locks operated by mobile phones. Another benefit coming from this technology is the identification of the visitor.
